🎖️ Honoring Our Heroes: Headstone Cleaning + After Party 🇺🇸

Nuvision Credit Union Alaska, American Legion Jack Henry Post 1, and Elevated Oats are teaming up to honor our fallen heroes and we need YOUR help! Join us for a day of camaraderie, giving back, and paying tribute to the brave men and women who served our nation, followed by a well-deserved after party at Jack Henry Post 1.

🗓 DATE: Sunday, May 29th 📌 MEET UP: Jack Henry Post 1 (9:00 AM) or Veterans Tract, Anchorage Memorial Cemetery (9:30 AM)

Bring your family and friends for a meaningful and rewarding day as we clean headstones and place flags, crosses, and pennies to show our respect. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach younger generations the importance of honoring and remembering those who fought for our freedom.

😋 REFRESHMENTS: Enjoy delicious snacks and coffee provided by Veteran-owned Elevated Oats throughout the day.

🍗 AFTER PARTY: After we've completed our mission, join us back at Jack Henry Post 1 for a well-deserved after party and drinks to celebrate our hard work and the memories of our heroes. Catered by Spinz Pollo a la Brasa.

‼️🧰 TOOLS: We'll have a limited supply of tools, so please bring your own if possible:

• Gloves
• Box cutters and carpet cutting tools
• Pruning saws
• Hand tools: trowels, pruners, cultivators
• Clean spray bottles and water jugs
• Scrub brushes and toothbrushes (natural or nylon bristles, NO plastic or metal)
• Wooden sticks: paint stir sticks, chopsticks, popsicle sticks (for scraping debris from engravings)
